Helen Thomas on Alito

Helen Thomas oh so shockingly comes out against Judge Alito. Read the column. It's unintentionally hilarious.
With Justice Clarence Thomas in his hip pocket, Scalia in effect has two votes on the nine-member high court.
Raich
He is apparently scandal free but none of his Italian immigrant heritage seems to have translated into compassion for ordinary people.
Don't decide cases based on the law, Judge Alito. Decide them on who the parties are. Always side with the little guy, even when it flies in the face of the law and the Constitution.
The most vocal protesters are those who fear that Alito may try to overturn the court's 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that legalized abortion. He has said he opposes that decision.
It is totally wrong for any judge or lawyer to question the soundness of Roe. Someone tell Helen that even Justice Ginsburg has questioned the reasoning behind Roe.

Helen Thomas said that she would kill herself if Cheney ran for president in 2008. I would hate for that to happen. I want Helen to outlive me. I can't imagine the White House press room without her shrill, troll-like voice front and center every day. That's just not America to me. Helen Thomas forever!
