Updates to Come

Bear with me for a while. I think I caught the bird flu or some other illness that was supposed to wipe out half of humanity but didn't. I haven't been this sick in years. I've missed four classes this week. That's horrible. But when you are hacking up your lungs in small, gooey chunks and feel like you're on the verge of collapse, the law school isn't the best place to hang. I'm getting better (or less worse) gradually, and hopefully I can get some posts up on Friday.

Until then, pray for Mojo.

That's very similar to how I look on the couch right now.

Very cool. You are a gentleman and a scholar.

Off to the doctor's office...

STEVE HEALTH UPDATE: I had a virus that became a bacterial infection in my throat, nose, and ears. I am also very contagious. Doctor thinks that if I take all the different meds he prescribed, I should be back on my feet by Monday.

I'm not missing Volokh dammit.

Feel better and good luck getting to the Volokh speech. I hope you will post a few thoughts on his presentation. I'm curious, however, as to why in your previous post you mentioned your "position as an officer in a law school organization that shall not be named." What is the problem with naming the org?

It was just a joke. The organization is the Federalist Society. Some people (including many Democratic Senators) view membership in the Federalist Society as the equivalent of being in a baby-eating cult. I just like playing with their misinformed stereotype.
